Compasskin began long before it had a name.
Our journey traces back to the late 1980s when one family helped pioneer rafting adventures and worked alongside to introduce lodge-to-lodge comfort trek in Nepal, while the other led expedition-style journeys for international groups across the Himalayas. Travel didn’t become just a business for us, it became a purpose to show you the year old memories that each place hold.
As we grew, so did our understanding of hospitality. Through formal education, hands-on experience in tourism and hotels, and exposure to different parts of the world, we learned that ‘the most memorable journeys are not about the destination, but the people you meet, stories you’re told and the raw unpredictable moments along the way’.
Over the years, those experiences became our childhood memories that gave us a deep appreciation for landscapes, cultures, people around the world.
This led us to bringing all the experiences together and founding our own rebirth of the legacy: Compasskin.
Today, we design thoughtful journeys that combine comfort, culture, and genuine connection. Each experience is carefully crafted to help travelers slow down, discover more deeply, cherish every mountains, hills, beaches and experience the world in a way that feels once in a life time memory, a meaningful journey, and unforgettable adventures.

Today each itinerary here includes candid planner notes on altitude, weather and seasonal limits, so you can book with clear expectations and arrive ready.
Now we have local partners, not middlemen. We work directly with lodges, guides and hosts we’ve built relationships with over years, not through a chain of agents. That is how you get the right room, the right guide and the right timing through us.
Small by design as we cap every group at 12 travelers, so each person gets real attention and care from the guide and the team. It’s also small enough to get to know the people you’re traveling with, and many guests leave with friendships that last well beyond the trip.
Everything priced in private guides, hand-picked stays, internal flights and transfers are all included. Anything that isn’t included is listed in plain language before you sign.
Looked after, start to finish since permits and paperwork are handled before you land, and someone from Compasskin meets you on arrival. You’ll have a direct WhatsApp line to your own contact from the moment you land until you fly home.
At Compasskin, we choose family-run lodges, locally owned camps and host communities over big resort chains, so more of what you spend stays where you traveled.
